  • NYSEAN - New York Southeast Asia Network

    The New York Southeast Asia Network (NYSEAN) is a virtual and actual community of scholars, students, journalists, and policymakers devoted to putting Southeast Asia into the global conversation and inspiring the next generation of scholars and leaders.

    Created in 2015, NYSEAN’s vision is supporting dynamic and informed public and policy discussions about Southeast Asia and U.S.-Southeast Asian relations, with a special focus on the greater New York and tri-state region.

  • Southeast Asia Program at Cornell University

    The Southeast Asia Program (SEAP) was founded in 1950 to promote the acquisition and dissemination of knowledge about countries, cultures and languages of the region. Its twenty core and eight emeritus faculty members have collective knowledge of Southeast Asia, which amounts to one of the world’s greatest concentrations of expertise on this region. Six language lecturers teach 4 levels of study in Burmese, Indonesian, Khmer, Tagalog, Thai, and Vietnamese.

  • The Consortium for Southeast Asian Studies in Asia (SEASIA)

    The consortium Charter was signed by the Center for Asia-Pacific Studies, Academia Sinica; the Institute of Asian Studies, Chulalongkorn University; the Indonesian Institute of Sciences; the Korean Association of Southeast Asian Studies; the Center for Southeast Asian Studies, Kyoto University; the Asia Research Institute, National University of Singapore; the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, Nanyang Technological University; the Taiwan Association of Southeast Asian Studies; the Institute of Asian Studies, Universiti Brunei Darussalam; the Asian Center, University of the Philippines.
